playboy bunny vest
A type of vest often worn with the playboy bunny outfit and over the leotard. It is designed to reveal the breasts and comes with either long sleeves or is sleeveless, typically buttoned on the waist, with straps from the waist going upwards, beside and usually covered by the breasts (if large enough) with lapels and looping over the shoulder and connecting back down to the vest.
It primarily resembles a either a waistcoat, tailcoat or suit jacket, but functions like a corset or a waist cincher, it can also resemble and function as a bustier.
It is buttoned on the waist. It can be double-breasted, with two columns of buttons. It can have at least one button. It can also use button chains instead of regular buttons to make it appear unbuttoned.
Some variants do not have lapels and just use vest's fabric as straps or use straps similar to a brassiere to hold itself up.
Some variants are strapless, they do not have straps that go over the shoulder, and are only secured by the buttons at the waist, with a tendency to droop down.
Some variants have coattails.
Can be worn either buttoned or unbuttoned, and can be worn with the breasts underneath the vest.
Some designs blur the lines between a regular waistcoat and the playboy bunny vest, as a rule of thumb, if it reveals the cleavage or the whole breasts, you can use the playboy bunny vest tag.
Do not confuse with a regular waistcoat with lapels, tailcoat or suit jacket.
If it has sleeves and only appears above the breasts please use shrug (clothing) instead.
