A character from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Maria is a dark-skinned illegal immigrant from somewhere in Southeast Asia. Maria's adopted Japanese names spell out as "籍売ったろう" - "seki-uttaro" ("I'll sell my name") - alluding to the fact that she bought it from a young man who's willing to sell everything related to him. She also hoards food and refuse from garbage cans. A running gag is that she has an aversion to wearing panties, socks and shoes, and as such, goes to school without them.
