walther mp
A 9×19mm Parabellum submachine gun manufactured by Carl Walther GmbH in West Germany from 1963 to 1985. The weapon was designed in late 1950s in line with military and police re-arming plans in West Germany. This new submachine gun became the Walther MPL and MPK, and mass production began in 1963. When released, it was adopted by West German intelligence agencies and the navy.
The Walther MP series features a simple blowback operation, two-piece stamped metal receiver, and wire side-folding stock.
