AI-generated art check thread

post #9360022 is tagged with ai-generated and active (I'd change it to ai-assisted personally, but wanted to ask here first). I'm also asking about smewed artwork as a whole since three posts from them are tagged as ai-assisted (@Veraducks, @Diet_Soda, any help?) and artist's artstyle and quality look inconsistent sometimes. It's as if some of their artworks are drawn, while others look suspicious as if they were generated.

The artists admits to using AI for both reference and touch-ups: 1, 2, 3. It's probably safe to tag their entire gallery as ai-assisted, and some images are worse/more obvious than others. E.g. the one I personally tagged (post #7276333) looks like a bare minimum tracejob, you can see the manual brushstrokes on the clothes clashing with the uniform jpeg-artefacted rendering of the rest of the image, plus the guy fucking her is a mutant with his right arm and lower half (unless that was intended to be a third guy's?) completely disconnected from the rest of his body.

post #9360022 has some details which I think would be very strange to make for someone using AI "responsibly", like the green box's ribbon only wrapping one side of the box, and Fern's choker disappearing under her hair.

Their style looks like a LORA of jkarts07.

Almost all their output is in the last 6 months.

Maybe its just someone who liked the style and copied it but want a second look.

Probably not, upscaling to that resolution is hard to achieve without noticeable artifacts or stitch marks from the tiling. Plus you can see with post #9477054, post #9393805, and post #9359360 them deliberately going for some of the stuff AI has trouble with (noticeably object permanence and some degree of memory for backgrounds).

suspect ikimaren, brand new artist whose only commentary is patreon links, pixiv posts are extremely close together, linked pixiv fanbox mentions ai use but also just felt the vibes were off, and on further inspection:
post #9314476 has weird mouth discontinuity around tongue, strange extra skin between breast and hair (fixed in a non-web source revision, potential self-up?)
post #9494959 lingerie doesn't look like a brush or manually drawn, looks ai, hair discontinuities around finger and ear, weird ear, also weird hair under her arm on the right
pixiv #130488582 has ai like eye-hair interaction, rivets on chest strap thing look ai too
pixiv #130522446 has discontinuity in the coker around the o-ring
pixiv #130616637 lingerie again doesn't feel like a brush or manually drawn, looks distorted and ai'd, also bra straps are :Uhhh:
pixiv #130915771 maid headdress, hair tag things, jacket trim and print...
pixiv #130916178 hats train emblem, a lot of minor things in this one
pixiv #130917971 generally feels pretty off especially the hair bow things
pixiv #130933862 details on the dress

post #9499338 Looks funky. Especially the clothes on the hangers.

improper source, no artist, no copyright, google gemini mentioned that its source is "horse girl" by artbreeder (an ai gen site), can't properly reverse image search it, posted by new account. i'd say that's ai or a troll

post #9496878 and its children posts

only real bits i can see as ai are where the edge of where collar meets collarbone/breast does a weird skin merge thing, hole pattern on the collar seems odd (though i'm not well versed in this copyright), and if you zoom in, it looks like some of the stray hair strands kind of merge into their shadow (but that seems more like artistic error than ai error). i wouldn't trust ai detectors either so those are my 2c on its ai-ability. i can't find similar inconsistencies in the artist's other posts so i'm leaning more towards that the artist made a mistake with a blending layer somewhere

is araneesama using ai?

Lotta their works look like ai with how the fingers are positioned. I don't have any definitive proof and was hoping to get more insight.

No, this doesn't look like AI. Artists have been struggling with hands for long before AI, and that awkwardness can be seen in their art as far back as 4 years ago: post #4274551
