kemurikusa (object)

ケムリクサ(アイテム) ダイダイ(ケムリクサ)

Transparent leaf-like objects found in the 2019 anime Kemurikusa, originally more cigarette-looking in the 2010-2012 ONA.

Several types of Kemurikusa have been introduced, their names based entirely on color, most listed below:

  • Midori - the most prominent, can heal/restore, smells of tobacco, green-colored (has individual tag for the tree, branches and roots of Midori; as prominently used by Ritsu)
  • Kiiru - can illuminate and be used as an energy and heat source, yellow-colored
  • Aoi - can detect water, resembles a fish in shape, indigo-colored
  • Momo - can divide, pink peach-colored; only used by Rina
  • Usuiro/Ushiro - can be eaten and cooked, pale white-colored; Wakaba begins growing one later
  • Daidai - can record information in written form, rectangular-shaped, orange-colored
  • Ao - can be used to create barriers, blue-colored
  • Murasaki - can be used to duplicate objects, purple-colored
  • Akairo - destroys and nullifies the effects of Kemurikusa, infects robots through red mist; created by Riri

Related to the leaves which make up the core of each sister and robot in the series.
