yin yang pot
The Yin-Yang Pot, originally known as the "Double-Flavor Hot Pot", belongs to Sichuan and Chongqing cuisine in China. It is a specialty hot pot that offers both spicy and mild fresh flavors. Its prototype can be traced back to the multi-compartment cooking vessel called the "Five-Flavor Cauldron" (Wushu Fu) during the Three Kingdoms period in ancient China. Similar artifacts, such as compartmentalized tripods and ceramic mandarin duck hot pots, had already appeared in the Han Dynasty.
